Job Description
About DigiMade Studios
DigiMade Studios stands as the sole beverage-exclusive branding and design agency in its field. We empower beverage founders and startups to transform their concepts into market-ready brands through comprehensive strategy, packaging, and digital design solutions. Our diverse client base spans from emerging innovators to rapidly expanding beverage companies throughout the U.S. We pride ourselves on delivering creative work that drives sales and market impact.
The Role: 3D Product Artist
We are seeking a skilled 3D Product Artist to play a crucial role in creating high-end product visualizations for our beverage packaging projects. This position primarily focuses on generating clean, realistic, and commercially viable renders of cans, bottles, and various related packaging. These visuals are essential for presentations, marketing collateral, and brand launch campaigns. You will collaborate directly with the founder and the design team, translating finalized artwork and established brand systems into polished 3D visuals. It's important to note that this role is specifically for product visualization, not character or environment design. We're looking for someone with a deep understanding of commercial product lighting, intricate glass and liquid materials, and studio-quality rendering techniques. This is a remote, project-based contractor role offering flexible hours and significant potential for long-term collaboration as DigiMade Studios continues its growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 3D renders of beverage cans, bottles, and diverse packaging formats.
- Accurately model bottles and packaging forms when project requirements dictate.
- Apply label artwork cleanly and proportionally to 3D models, ensuring brand fidelity.
- Develop realistic materials, including aluminum, glass, PET, shrink sleeves, and pressure-sensitive labels.
- Produce studio-style product shots featuring clean lighting and professional shadow control.
- Generate multiple angles, compelling hero shots, and isolated product visuals as needed.
- Deliver organized Blender files and render outputs that align seamlessly with agency workflows.
- Iterate quickly and efficiently based on creative direction and feedback from the team.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Blender (required).
- Proven experience rendering beverage packaging (required).
- A robust portfolio showcasing realistic glass, liquid, or packaging renders.
- Strong understanding of lighting, reflections, refraction, and material realism.
- Ability to model product forms accurately from reference materials when necessary.
- Demonstrated clean node organization and efficient scene setup in Blender.
- Professional communication skills and a commitment to responsiveness.
- Comfortable working as an independent 1099 contractor.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of shrink sleeves or label application processes.
- Experience exporting GLB or other web-ready 3D assets.
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator workflows for artwork application.
- Basic understanding of print production and packaging terminology.
Why Join DigiMade Studios?
DigiMade Studios is a dynamic and expanding creative agency exclusively dedicated to beverage brands. You'll have the unique opportunity to work directly with the founder, enjoy the autonomy to experiment and optimize creative campaigns, and witness your direct impact on a fast-scaling, design-driven business.
