Automation QA Engineer – Java & Playwright
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java & Playwright.
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks.
- Automate UI, API, and regression test cases.
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with developers for resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis of failures.
- Participate in requirement reviews and test planning.
- Maintain test documentation and reports.
- Support integration, system, and UAT testing activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Java programming.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework.
- Experience in UI and API automation testing.
- Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.

- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
