About the Role

Join Digia Plc's Data and Analytics unit as a Senior AI ML Engineer. In this role, you will collaborate with Data Scientists and business consultants to elevate our diverse customer base's artificial intelligence capabilities. You will bridge communications between systems and implement AI and machine learning pipelines using cloud or open source solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable AI and analytics solutions.
  • Identify use cases, conduct feasibility tests, and deploy models with clients.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes for seamless data integration.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain machine learning models in production alongside Data Scientists.
  • Perform software development tasks including troubleshooting and code debugging.
  • Integrate state-of-the-art AI tools, methods, and best practices into ongoing projects.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role in consulting or product companies.
  • Proficient in AI use case design, machine learning, generative AI frameworks, LLMs, and architecture.
  • Strong data pipeline development and data architecture skills.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as SQL and Python.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Skilled in API integration for advanced analytics solutions.
  • Familiar with DevOps, MLOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code practices (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
  • Excellent communication skills in both Finnish and English.
