At DICK'S Sporting Goods, we believe in the transformative power of sports. The Director, Engineering - Tech Ops & Support will shape and execute the strategic vision for a robust technology operations ecosystem supporting retail, distribution centers, corporate offices, and remote environments.

Role Responsibilities

The role includes leadership, strategy, and financial oversight, technology operations and support, Tech Ops platform engineering, teammate experience and service management, financial operations engineering, and executive A/V support.

• Leadership Strategy: Set multi-year operational strategy, oversee team development, and manage budgets.
• Tech Ops & Support: Oversee L0-L2 support, incident management, and drive service improvements.
• Platform Engineering: Lead development of integrated service management and automation tools.
• Teammate Experience: Enhance collaboration tools, standardize ITSM, and drive reporting metrics.
• Financial Operations: Manage cloud FinOps, licensing, and vendor relationships.
• Executive Support: Ensure seamless A/V, unified communications, and board support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, with 10 to 15+ years of experience. Must have experience in ITSM, SRE, incident management, and leadership of both employees and contractors.

Compensation & Benefits

Targeted pay range: $127,000.00 - $237,800.00, plus a competitive benefits package.
