Description
The Remote Triage Nurse is a full-time LPN dedicated to women’s health. You will provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team and serve as the first line of communication with patients via phone and messaging during office hours. The role is dynamic, requiring excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish, are preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Patient Care: Act as the initial contact for clinical communications, administer injections and medications, provide direct clinical care for minor visits, support lab draws, manage paperwork, educate patients, and support clinic visits as needed.
- Administrative: Back up the Medical Assistant by maintaining logs, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, obtaining and transcribing patient records, and supporting general clinic workflow.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse
- 2+ years of outpatient experience preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMRs
- Lactation certification preferred (IBCLC, CLC, CLE)
- Bilingual capabilities, with Spanish preferred
