The Role: Accountant

We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Accountant to join our growing organization. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and attention to detail with accuracy under time constraints. You must have a working knowledge of payroll processing, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts.

What You’ll Do

• Timely and accurate completion of payroll processing.
• Accounts payable entry and payment of invoices.
• Communication with vendors.
• Cash posting for vendor debits.
• Monthly administrative invoicing and cash posting.
• Ensure complete and accurate routine reconciliations of cash, credit card liability, and other balance sheet accounts as necessary.
• Field and resolve inquiries.
• Company credit card program management.
• Be a key player in the year-end audit; preparing reconciliations and documentation for use by external auditors.
• Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience and/or a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Must have payroll experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assigned tasks, while ensuring the accuracy of work and completion within designated deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Exhibit good decision-making skills and be a strong contributor to the accomplishment of goals and priorities.
• Be open to change to improve processes, strengthen controls, and gain efficiencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare and revenue cycle management is a plus.
• Knowledge of OBGYN especially a plus.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
