Customer IT Solutions Specialist

For our IT Team in Frankfurt am Main/Düsseldorf, we are looking for a results-oriented Customer IT Solutions (CIS) Specialist. Permanent, full-time position.Your Challenges:
- You are responsible for the management and implementation of integration projects (EDI, API, hybrid solutions) for national and international customers.
- Analyzing technical customer requirements and translating them into structured integration concepts are part of your tasks.
- You design and implement customer-specific data flows, using modern EDI standards (EDIFACT, XML, JSON).
- You also use our API portfolio and further develop it in collaboration with global development teams.
- The use of modern AI-based tools (e.g., LLMs, NLP analyses) for automation and process optimization is part of your daily work.
- You coordinate between customer IT, operations, sales, and third-level support.
- You also manage the entire integration lifecycle, including testing, go-live, stabilization, and handover.
- You monitor defined KPIs and ensure quality, compliance, and documentation.
- Consulting internal stakeholders on integration architectures and best practices is also part of your responsibilities.
- Conducting internal training on EDI, API, and data-driven customer solutions completes your profile.
What We Expect From You:
- Completed Bachelor's degree or apprenticeship in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Logistics, or comparable qualification.
- Sound understanding of operational logistics processes and their impact on end-to-end supply chains and IT integrations.
- Several years of experience in EDI integration, customer onboarding, or technical projects in logistics.
- Good knowledge of relevant standards: EDIFACT, JSON, XML, mapping logic, Transport Management Systems (ideally CW1).
- Experience with API technologies (REST, OAuth2, Webhooks) and API management platforms.
- Familiarity with AI technologies (LLMs, NLP analyses, automation frameworks).
- Sound technical understanding, quick comprehension, and analytical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills, especially in conveying technical content understandably and in a target-group-oriented manner.
- High service orientation, independence, and structured way of working.
- Very good German and English skills (written and spoken).
