Role Overview: Financial Analyst Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and performance evaluation to support strategic initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain essential financial documents, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and comprehensive financial reports.
• Assist in the development and refinement of financial models crucial for robust business planning and strategic decision-making.
• Analyze market trends thoroughly and deliver data-backed financial insights to senior stakeholders.
• Support critical budgeting processes, variance analysis, and cost-control initiatives across the organization.
• Present compelling financial findings and actionable recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Commerce, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated strong proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
• Solid knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or programming languages such as Python is preferred.
• A strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial statements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
