Dexter's Tech is seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Intern to join our IT security team. This is a 3-month paid internship with the potential for a full-time role and an internship certificate upon successful completion. The role is remote and based in India.

Role Overview

As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will support the IT security team in critical areas such as monitoring threats, identifying vulnerabilities, assisting in penetration testing, and responding to security incidents. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs for potential threats.
• Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments.
• Support risk analysis and penetration testing activities.
• Research emerging cyber threats and trends.
• Help maintain up-to-date security documentation.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing a degree or recently graduated in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
• Possess basic knowledge of network security principles and security tools.
• Familiarity with tools/concepts such as Wireshark, Metasploit, or OWASP is preferred but not required.
