Opportunity
The Visiting Professor I - Finance will share expertise with undergraduate and graduate students through a mix of face-to-face and online instruction. Courses are held once or twice a week over eight weeks with a blend of in-person and online interactions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and provide an approved syllabus aligned with DeVry University templates.
- Prepare, organize, and update course materials and lesson plans.
- Utilize technology for online discussions, assignments, and course access.
- Model effective oral and written communication to enhance student learning.
- Set clear course expectations with published objectives and schedules.
- Ensure exam content corresponds to course objectives with fair grading and timely feedback.
- Participate in comprehensive faculty training and ongoing development programs.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A doctoral degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the subject is required. Applicants must hold credentials from an accredited institution and possess strong subject matter expertise, communication skills, and motivational abilities in a diverse environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay is determined by degree, credit hours per 8-week session, and location, ranging from $1500-$2700 per session in most states, with hourly rates available for certain states. Benefits include 401(k), medical, dental, vision coverage, and a variety of other employee perks.
