Your Area of Work
As a Data Governance Specialist, you will:
- Roll-out the data governance program across multiple business segments.
- Support businesses during transformation and maintenance phases.
- Define and maintain the Data Domain Model as part of the overall strategy.
Your Responsibilities
- Align and define the Data Domain Model and operationalize DMG roles.
- Support onboarding of business areas and data domains into governance processes.
- Ensure consistency and quality input across data domains.
- Provide guidance and quality assurance during onboarding.
- Create, review, and maintain relevant documentation including user guides and policies.
- Report progress to senior management and DMG stakeholders.
- Drive resolution of issues and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
Your Profile
- Educational background or experience in IT, Data Management, Analytics or Governance.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data management concepts and data lifecycle.
- Experience with data cataloguing, databases, data models, and big data environments is desirable.
- Ability to operationalize data governance concepts into actionable tasks.
- Understanding of regulatory environments and risk management; BCBS239 knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach.
- Experience in change or project management is advantageous.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
