About the Role

The Compliance Intern supports the compliance team at Deutsche Börse in Singapore. You will work with local regulatory requirements as well as group-level compliance guidelines, ensuring smooth processes and effective communication across borders.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct annual/ad-hoc customer review exercises.
  • Perform database research and investigations.
  • Support daily processing of compliance alerts and findings.
  • Assist in finalizing tasks related to regulatory compliance.
  • Undertake CDD review for account opening.
  • Prepare for compliance meetings and take minutes.
  • Compile documents for internal and external audits.
  • Participate in ad-hoc compliance projects and initiatives.

Other Responsibilities & Skills

If you are keen to explore the banking environment, this role is ideal. The ideal candidate is analytical, self-confident, and organized. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required, along with strong written and spoken English. Basic communication in Mandarin or another foreign language is a plus. Banking or general compliance knowledge is beneficial, though not mandatory.
