Position Overview

The Equity Research Department at Deutsche Bank is seeking a highly motivated US Aerospace & Defense Analyst. This role is ideal for individuals with an MBA, Level 2 CFA, or relevant experience in sell-side equity research, investment banking, private equity, or investment management. You will collaborate closely with other team members, providing critical research coverage of stocks for both external firm clients and internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Be directly involved in company and industry research produced by the team.
  • Perform financial modeling to accurately forecast company results and value equity securities.
  • Collect and evaluate extensive industry data, maintaining comprehensive industry databases.
  • Translate complex quantitative financial conclusions into clear, concise written forms, charts, and graphs for inclusion in research reports distributed to firm clients.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in navigating periods of intensive financial modeling and assignments requiring more autonomous work.

Skills You’ll Need

  • Strong quantitative skills: The ideal candidate will possess excellent finance, accounting, and overall valuation expertise.
  • Solid writing and presentation skills: The capacity to articulate quantitative conclusions effectively in both written and spoken formats is essential. You should be able to transform financial analyses into high-quality charts and graphical representations for research reports.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills: Proficiency in creating complex, yet easily understandable financial models for senior analysts and firm clients is required.
