Linear Financing is a key business within the Fixed Income- Global Credit Trading (GCT) vertical at DB. Linear Financing (Margin Loans) desk is involved in providing share-backed financing solutions to corporates, private equity funds, financial institutions, and HNI borrowers.

Your Key Responsibilities
Deal selection:
- Fundamental and first-principles valuation of underlying companies using various valuation methodologies
- Financial and credit analysis of underlying companies
- Identifying key risks, their potential impact and risk mitigants
- Determining risk-based pricing and covenants
- Running quantitative and technical analysis to develop trading and hedging strategies
- Preparing risk analysis papers for trade approval by risk management functions and senior management
- Performing legal due-diligence to ensure that legal documents accurately reflect the agreed terms and conditions
Deal execution:
- Liaise with MO for trade bookings/ fund flows, Treasury for funding, and Finance for PnL attribution
Deal management:
- Monitor risk on the book by a constant review of the trigger levels, run daily risk flash and provide monthly updates to keep risk functions and senior management abreast
- Risk manage trades by calling for additional collateral/ partial prepayments, determining hedging parameters
