Position Overview

Deutsche Bank Technology in Berlin is seeking a SAS WF Chapter Lead - Senior Engineer uFlow Universal to mentor and grow a team of engineers. Work at the forefront of financial services innovation in our Berlin tech centre, where agile teams create global solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a chapter of software engineers.
  • Provide technical leadership on architecture, design, and implementation using Java, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes and cloud technologies.
  • Communicate technical concepts and project status to diverse stakeholders.
  • Champion best practices including code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, and lifecycle management.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and goal-setting sessions.

Your Skills And Experiences

  • Senior software engineering experience with proven technical leadership.
  • People management skills including coaching and mentoring.
  • Hands-on expertise with Java, Hibernate, Spring, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Springboot, BPMN engines.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented with strong communication skills.
