The Information Security Specialist AVP role at Deutsche Bank in Bangalore, India involves supporting governance, audit, and control oversight across the security landscape within the banking domain.
Role Description
This role requires a proactive individual with a solid understanding of information security controls. The candidate will liaise with multiple teams across risk management, compliance, internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory security requirements. Key responsibilities include managing audit findings end-to-end and driving continual improvement in the organization’s security posture.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Oversee governance of information security controls
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and auditors
- Manage audit findings documentation to closure
- Review design and operational effectiveness of controls
- Identify control gaps and recommend improvements
- Support periodic control reviews and reporting
- Enhance security frameworks, policies, and procedures
Your Skills And Experience
- 12+ years of experience in Information Security in banking
- Bachelor's or Master's in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT frameworks
- Experience in stakeholder management across risk, compliance, IT, and business functions
- Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC are desirable
