Job Title: GEM Asia Local Markets Trader, VP

Key research disciplines include Equity, Fixed Income, Economics, Foreign Exchange and Emerging Markets. You will be part of the German Economics team and will work on tracking various economies, analysis of macro-economic indicators and key drivers of the economy; creation and maintenance of databases; work on regular DB periodical research reports and adhoc requests.

The Fixed Income and Currencies business consists of Interest Rate Derivative, Foreign Exchange and Cash Bonds trading businesses. Fixed Income and Currencies business is a market leading provider of innovative investment, risk management and financing solutions to Corporates, Governments and Institutional Investors globally.

Your Key Responsibilities

As Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC) Trader you will be responsible for:

• Responsible for all Primary Dealer (PD) activities front to back which include – IGB,SGS, T- bill auction bidding, meeting minimum bidding commitments, turnover, success ratios, meeting retail targets and to keep up with Reserve Bank of India regulatory commitments for the PD activity.
• Responsible for risk management, execution, trade capture and PNL signoff of trading book.
• Pricing and executing Corporate and Institutional client flows
• Continuous exploration of overall platform enhancements with emphasis on flow automation.
• Client engagement - Market share acquisition.
• Help the trading desk with Daily activities and macro analysis.

Your Skills And Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Asia FIC trading.
• Strong history of risk management, running trading books and business development.
• Deep knowledge of India Local Markets and products.
• Knowledge of genesis of Client flows.
• An understanding and proficiency in managing trading books – foreign exchange and interest rate risk.
• Very strong quantitative skills and product knowledge.
• Team player, willing to contribute to the collaborative success of the broader team.
• Creative personality.
• Innovative track record.
• Strong networking / communication skills.
• 'Can do' positive attitude. Quick learner.
