Position Overview
As a Data Automation Engineer at Deutsche Bank, you will play an integral part in the firm’s first line of defense against financial crime within KYC Operations. This role focuses on reducing risk, ensuring efficient client onboarding, and maintaining relationships. You will contribute to the global KYC Transformation group, partnering with stakeholders to continuously improve processes and add quantifiable value.
You will build fast, robust, and stable solutions using technologies like Python, VBA, MS Power platforms (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), SQL, and SharePoint. Your work will involve removing repetitive tasks, building strategic data pipelines, and ensuring automation aligns with technology design process standards. Your Key Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for business solutions and improvements.
- Automate manual efforts by providing tactical solutions to enhance speed and value.
- Deliver proof-of-concept and fast solutions in an agile manner, utilizing appropriate technologies.
- Enhance personal and team networks to foster cooperation and efficiency, including sharing and enhancing solutions for wider business impact.
Your Skills And Experience
- Analyze, design, develop, test, deploy, and support Digital services software solutions.
- Exposure to ETL technologies and methods.
- Expertise in Python, VBA, and SQL for efficient data extraction.
- Experience developing business solutions using MS Power Apps, MS Power Automate, or RPA.
- Excellent spatial reasoning for process and data visualization (2D/3D).
- Proficiency in Process Mapping, Process Re-engineering, and data-oriented enterprise process modeling.
- Ability to generate innovative ideas and deliver effectively, escalating blockers when necessary.
- Desirable exposure to workflow solutions such as Alteryx, Pentaho, Celonis, Linux, and database tuning.
- Document solutions, including creation and upkeep of artifacts (Requirement Docs, SDDs, Test Scripts, JIRA, KSD).
- Provide L1 support for existing RPA solutions, resolving issues with minimal TAT.
