AVP Data Analyst at Deutsche Bank
Group Strategic Analytics is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO), acting as the bridge between the Bank’s businesses and infrastructure functions. In this role, you will work within the GCOO Divisional Data Office to drive implementation and compliance with data principles, policies, and standards covering the entire data lifecycle including records management, archiving, data disposal, data quality, lineage, and ownership.
Role Overview
You will collaborate with various teams consisting of business lines, infrastructure functions, and large-scale change programmes. Your responsibilities include monitoring regulatory changes, performing gap analyses, and driving the Data Quality Control Framework to ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with strategic KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate across the COO to ensure compliance with Data & Records management policies.
- Identify and oversee data priorities in collaboration with divisional and regional stakeholders.
- Monitor regulatory changes and conduct gap analyses for DB processes.
- Implement Data Quality Control Framework for critical data.
- Identify strategic data for governance and facilitate proper sourcing through strategic platforms.
- Ensure compliance with Information Security Policy and manage relevant MI.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years in Banking.
- 5+ years in data management (records, archiving, disposal, quality, lineage).
- Experience with industry standard tools such as Collibra and Solidatus.
- Excellent organizational skills under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
