Assistant Vice President QA Automation
Position Overview
Deutsche Bank USA Core Corporation seeks an Assistant Vice President in New York, NY to lead the QA function for the product suite within each phase of the software development life cycle while defining QA Automation strategy to drive code quality and coverage.
Responsibilities
- Lead the QA function for the product suite across all SDLC phases.
- Define QA Automation strategy to enhance code quality and coverage.
- Write automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, Allure report, and Visual Code.
- Utilize testing methodologies and application debugging from technical and business perspectives.
- Write acceptance criteria for user stories, test strategy, requirements traceability matrix, test plan, and test validation reports.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Collaborate with the software development team to discuss verification processes for evaluating software products.
- Identify software vulnerabilities through rigorous testing procedures.
- Report and track defects to ensure software quality.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines to enhance and maintain continuous integration flows.
- Execute duties utilizing Java, Selenium, MySQL, Cucumber BDD framework, Allure Report, cucumber report, Visual Code, Rest Client, Postman, GitHub, Agile, Jira, and Jenkins.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent.
- Five (5) years of experience in QA Automation.
- Experience with Java, Selenium, Allure report, and Visual Code.
- Experience with testing methodologies, application debugging, and writing test documentation.
- Experience in Agile development processes.
- Proficiency with Java, Selenium, MySQL, Cucumber BDD framework, Allure Report, cucumber report, Visual Code, Rest Client, Postman, GitHub, Agile, Jira, and Jenkins.
Note: Employer will accept 3 years of study towards a U.S. Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related work experience to satisfy the Bachelor’s degree requirement.
Salary Range: $140,000 – $165,000/year
