Administrative Assistant - France Investment Banking

About the Role

Join Deutsche Bank Investment Banking Coverage’s team in Paris. Our Corporate Finance business is a market leader in Investment Banking and Capital Markets, consistently recognized for activities in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and capital raising. We offer a full spectrum of investment banking services, including public and private equity and debt financing, M&A advisory, and private investment services for corporate and institutional clients.

Within our team, your mission will be to support several team members, primarily senior bankers, in optimizing their activity and time management. Each assistant is assigned to specific bankers but must also be capable of functioning as part of a pool, supporting other bankers during peak periods or in cases of absence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple calendars, plan, and organize client meetings.
  • Organize travel arrangements, including transportation, hotels, and taxis.
  • Book meeting rooms, and welcome clients and visitors from other Deutsche Bank entities.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new joiners, including requesting badges and IT system access.
  • Process and submit senior bankers' expense reports, handle invoices, and order supplies.
  • Log client call reports.
  • Perform standard administrative tasks and provide ad-hoc support to other team assistants based on workload.

Skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and requests simultaneously.
  • Very good spoken and written English proficiency for frequent interactions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of discretion due to the confidential nature of information handled.
  • Rigorous, reliable, and responsive work ethic.
  • Proficiency in office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP (Concur, Ariba) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar position within an investment bank is highly desired.
