We are looking for you as a Working Student Data Strategy, Governance and Architecture for DB InfraGO AG located in Berlin or Frankfurt am Main as soon as possible.

Your Tasks:

  • You engage in complex tasks related to the data domain, working with experienced colleagues to draft and refine the data strategy for rail operation
  • You conduct independent research to stay up-to-date with current trends in the data environment, including areas like Data Modelling Techniques, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric
  • You prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on your findings to inform decision-making and strategy development
  • You support the team in enhancing, documenting, and executing processes related to Data Governance, Data Architecture, and associated frameworks

Your Profile:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Understanding of data concepts including data modeling, architecture, and governance
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment; Furthermore you are high self-motivation and excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize complex information into actionable insights, moreover your are familiarity with data trends and emerging technologies like Data Mesh and Data Fabric is a plus
  • Confident handling of common MS Office applications and good written and spoken English (German proficiency is a plus)
