Job Summary
As a Marketing Communications Advisor at Desjardins, you will significantly contribute to B2B initiatives for business development, wealth management, and the Trust's mandate. This pivotal role involves structuring marketing tools, crafting clear and relevant content, optimizing platforms, and streamlining the RFP process. You will operate in a dynamic, bilingual financial environment where precision, creativity, and efficient execution are paramount. Your ability to articulate complex financial concepts and produce high-quality marketing assets will directly support the growth of Desjardins' teams.
More specifically, you will be required to:
Key Responsibilities
B2B marketing and business development support
- Produce and update French/English marketing content including presentations, fact sheets, talking points, emails, LinkedIn posts, and team bios.
- Adapt messages to effectively reach business development and wealth management target audiences.
- Support account managers with modernized and consistent sales tools.
- Collaborate closely with Products, Trust, Sales, Compliance, and Digital Marketing teams.
Web platform and content (including editorial governance)
- Contribute to the strategy and development of web content for www.desjardinsfunds.com, specifically including content for the Trust.
- Produce and optimize educational and technical content such as FAQs, glossaries, and explanations of offers.
- Monitor web indicators (traffic and engagement) and recommend UX/SEO improvements.
- Ensure French/English language quality, visual consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain rigorous editorial governance: version control, content structure, and compliance.
- Work with external suppliers (agencies, designers, translators) to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Trust mandate
- Implement, structure, and maintain a comprehensive RFP database.
- Develop master templates for letters, appendixes, presentation templates, and sample responses.
- Coordinate information collection and ensure the editorial and regulatory quality of all deliverables.
- Participate in the growth strategy, particularly in Ontario.
- Develop compelling proof points: case studies, 'Why do business with us' fact sheets, and content tailored for the Ontario market.
- Contribute to visibility initiatives: speaking engagements, partnerships, and presence in relevant networks.

What You Bring To The Table
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in B2B marketing or communications, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy, structure, and editorial rigor.

Skills & Expertise
- Proficiency in French is required.
- Expertise in writing in both French and English.
- Proficiency in explaining financial content (products, Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) framework).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools.
