Job Description

Position: Azure DevOps Engineer with P&C experience Location: Erie, PA (Onsite) Duration: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Guidewire applications using tools like TeamCity, GitLab CI, etc.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Enhance IT infrastructure security and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify and resolve infrastructure and application issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations and procedures.

Requirements

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 6-10 years in a DevOps or systems engineering role with hands-on experience on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell (2-3 years).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI (3-5 years).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration (3-5 years).
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as DynaTrace, Datadog, or Splunk.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
