Conversational UX Designer

Job Purpose

The Conversational UX Designer role at DEPT® is part of our Experience & Engineering team in Germany, where technology meets experience design. The role combines UX design, dialogue structuring, and advanced prompt crafting to create intelligent and natural interactions for chat and voice applications.

What You’ll Do

• Bring innovative ideas around AI assistant best practices.
• Design conversational flows and dialogue structures.
• Define tone, voice, and assistant personality across channels.
• Translate strategy into user-centered flows with prototypes.
• Present work to clients and incorporate feedback.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, AI engineers, and developers.
• Conduct testing and iterative improvement based on data.

What You Bring

• 4+ years’ experience as UX/Conversational Designer at an agency or renowned brand.
• Experience designing chatbot or voicebot solutions.
• Excellent writing and communication skills for natural dialogues.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating passion and experience.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and using Figma.
• Working proficiency in English and German.
• Availability to start working in Germany.
