The Role: Senior Product Designer - Visual Design
DEPT® seeks a senior product designer with at least 24 months of experience in product and/or graphic design. The role requires proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, mobile design, and 3D modeling tools. You will plan strategies, build prototypes, maintain design systems, and work with international partners. Responsibilities include:
- Developing conceptual designs, prototypes and design systems.
- Designing for mobile contexts and applying 3D modeling.
- Planning projects aligned with business goals.
- Conducting product research and facilitating stakeholder conversations.
- Running workshops, sprints, and collaborating across teams using tools like Jira, Asana, or Trello.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design, Interactive Digital Media, or related field required, with 24 months practical experience (paid or unpaid) in similar roles. A portfolio with professional projects in release is a must.
Work Arrangement & Location
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on-site at either the Boston, MA office (35 India St, Boston, MA 02110) or Newburyport, MA headquarters (20 Inn St, Newburyport, MA 01950).
