About the Role: Project Reporting Analyst

The Project Reporting Analyst sits within the Data & Digital division and acts as a quality assurance and oversight function within the Delivery Branch. The role involves monitoring, tracking, and reporting on project health across the portfolio, ensuring compliance with project standards, governance, and reporting. This analyst is a key liaison between individual projects and senior leadership and provides early warning systems for projects needing intervention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert systems and administrative support across project platforms.
  • Monitor project health including risk, budget, scheduling, and governance.
  • Prepare detailed monthly reports and escalate issues as needed.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders and senior project teams.
  • Ensure adherence to project management standards and stage-gate requirements.

Key Selection Criteria

Applicants must demonstrate strong project coordination capabilities, excellent data literacy, digital proficiency, and effective stakeholder management. Experience in traditional project management and agile delivery is required, as well as a minimum of 3 years in data and digital projects or PMO roles, ideally within a government or large private sector organisation. Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince2/PMBOK, or Agile are an asset.
