Optical - Computer Vision Engineer Missions
If you are an Optical Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience, this role is for you! Your responsibilities will include:- **Conception and Optimization:** Master and optimize the complete optical chain, including lenses, sensors, and image processing.
- **Development:** Design and improve computer vision models to meet clinical needs, such as metric calculations and defect detection.
- **Performance & Monitoring:** Evaluate the limits of optical models and monitor their behavior in production.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Work closely with Hardware teams and Clinical Leads to ensure scan fidelity.
- **Research & Documentation:** Structure optical knowledge within R&D and document test protocols.
Who You Are
This job is a great fit if you have:- A scientific background (Master's, PhD, Engineering Degree, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in a Linux environment with Python or C++.
- Strong command of OpenCV for traditional computer vision tasks.
- Solid knowledge of signal processing and geometric optics.
- Autonomy, adaptability, and a strong desire to learn.
- Comfort with teamwork and receptiveness to feedback.
- A critical mindset towards results.
- Experience in a scale-up/start-up environment with a desire for versatility and initiative.
- A C1 level in English and French.
- Previous experience in a Medical Device environment.
