Optical - Computer Vision Engineer Missions

If you are an Optical Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience, this role is for you! Your responsibilities will include:
  • **Conception and Optimization:** Master and optimize the complete optical chain, including lenses, sensors, and image processing.
  • **Development:** Design and improve computer vision models to meet clinical needs, such as metric calculations and defect detection.
  • **Performance & Monitoring:** Evaluate the limits of optical models and monitor their behavior in production.
  • **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Work closely with Hardware teams and Clinical Leads to ensure scan fidelity.
  • **Research & Documentation:** Structure optical knowledge within R&D and document test protocols.

Who You Are

This job is a great fit if you have:
  • A scientific background (Master's, PhD, Engineering Degree, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in a Linux environment with Python or C++.
  • Strong command of OpenCV for traditional computer vision tasks.
  • Solid knowledge of signal processing and geometric optics.
  • Autonomy, adaptability, and a strong desire to learn.
  • Comfort with teamwork and receptiveness to feedback.
  • A critical mindset towards results.
  • Experience in a scale-up/start-up environment with a desire for versatility and initiative.
  • A C1 level in English and French.
**Even Better If You Have:**
  • Previous experience in a Medical Device environment.
