Job Description
Hotline Automation Technician
Dematic is seeking a Hotline Automation Technician to join our team.
We Offer
- Ensure remote troubleshooting for clients.
- Acquire technical knowledge of client installations.
- Maintain client connection tools.
- Support field technicians and sales assistants.
- Identify and analyze malfunctions, define corrective actions, and monitor implementation.
- Perform precise written analysis of breakdowns impacting processes and implement palliative measures.
- On-site interventions for clients (preventive, corrective maintenance, after-sales service).
- Write detailed technical, analysis, and intervention reports.
- Apply Dematic group directives and processes in your role.
Travel required: 50% of the time across France. On-call duties are expected.
Tasks And Qualifications
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bac +2 in Electrotechnics or Automation, with specialization or confirmed experience in automation.
- Mandatory Siemens technology (Step7) knowledge.
- Schneider (PL7 Pro), Allen Bradley, Beckhoff technologies are a plus.
- Confirmed experience with industrial systems and processes.
- Availability and flexibility.

- Organized and rigorous in your work.
- Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills.
Other Skills & Abilities
- Technical and conversational English skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of industrial IT (C++, Oracle, SQL) would be a plus.
- Valid driver's license (Permis B) is essential.
