We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled VB.NET and C# Software Developer to join our senior engineering team. This role is ideal for a developer with extensive experience in C# and .NET technologies who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities, drive architectural decisions, and contribute to the strategic direction of our software projects. The successful candidate will excel in complex problem-solving, mentor other developers, influence the overall technology strategy, and play a key role in resolving complex customer and production issues. This position requires both strategic thinking and practical execution, including direct involvement in high-impact support and escalation scenarios.
This role requires embracing an AI-first approach to work, where GenAI and agentic AI tools are viewed as essential collaborators rather than optional supplements. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior management to define technology strategy and roadmap.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies to drive innovation and improve development practices.

Qualifications
- A college degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of software development experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in VB.NET and C# programming, including advanced features and best practices.
- Extensive and in-depth knowledge of the .NET Framework, including its core libraries, runtime, and advanced features, with proven experience in leveraging its capabilities for building robust and scalable applications.
- Proficiency in development tools and environments, such as Visual Studio, TFS or Git.
- Deep understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming (OOP), and SOLID principles.
- Extensive experience in SQL Server, Oracle or other relational databases, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
