Integrated Analytics and Insights Expert
Delta Dental Ins. is seeking an Expert Risk Analytics & Insights professional to serve as the data and automation strategist for their risk and compliance programs. This role is critical for transforming raw data into actionable risk intelligence, driving digital transformation, and enabling continuous monitoring across key risk domains.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of digital solutions to automate risk monitoring, audit tracking, and reporting for risk and compliance functions.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated compliance monitoring activities to continuously assess control effectiveness across key regulatory and operational domains (e.g., HIPAA, DMHC, ORSA).
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and analytics environments leveraging Power BI, Snowflake, and other enterprise tools.
- Partner with Technology and the business to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across risk systems and repositories.
- Transform complex data sets into meaningful insights to inform risk assessment, prioritization, and executive decision-making.
- Develop and maintain key risk indicator (KRI) dashboards, key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards, and trend analytics to support continuous monitoring and early detection of emerging risks.
- Integrate data from risk registers, audit findings, incidents, and operational metrics to develop a consolidated enterprise view of risk.
- Translate technical findings into clear narratives for executives, the Board, and regulatory audiences.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Excel; experience with data visualization, extract transformation and load (ETL) tools, or Python/R.
- Strong analytical and data modeling skills with a focus on risk and compliance metrics.
- Proven ability to design and implement automated data solutions that improve efficiency and insight.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executives.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills, particularly in cross-functional, non-hierarchical settings.
Licenses
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), CRMA, ARM, Data Analytics or BI certification, CPA, or equivalent within 1 Year Required.
