Responsibilities of the Head of Group Human Resources & Development

  • Report to the Chairman & Group CEO, this role is responsible for creating the HR strategies that will attract, develop and retain associates, which in turn assist the organisation to achieve its vision and mission.
  • Responsible for the full spectrum of HR and administrative functions, spearheading the formulation and implementation of HR strategies and innovative talent acquisition and retention programs to position the Group as an employer of choice and meet organizational development goals.
  • Develop strategic resourcing plans and provide effective solutions on talent acquisition and retention to fulfill the current and long term needs of the Group.
  • Act as HR Business Partner and subject-matter-expert to provide professional HR solutions and support to business units in the Group on all aspects of HR functions.
  • Develop and drive HR transformation and change management programs in support of the Group’s strategies and initiatives.
  • Partner with the management team to drive a high performance culture by facilitating appropriate learning interventions, performance management and employee engagement.
  • Enable the organization to reach business results through training and development programmes, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Improve operating efficiency by streamlining the human resource management processes, providing innovative solutions, and using technology to integrate the various human resources deliverables (including compensation and benefits system, training administration, etc.).

Requirements for the Role

  • University graduate in HR-related discipline.
  • 15+ years solid and hands-on all-rounded HR experiences, preferably experience in banking industry or financial institutions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and presentation skills with experience in working with executive level.
  • Demonstrated high proficiency in problem solving, analytical skills, organizational skills; and influencing skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing environment with validated abilities to multi-task.
  • Experience in change management and organization development in a growth phase.
  • Occasionally travel to Macau is required.
