Vice President of Healthcare Data and Analytics

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of recent Senior Leadership experience with healthcare provider system (Hospitals & Clinics) systems in large-scale implementations, transformations, and running day-to-day IT operations
  • Minimum 5-7 years as VP or Director of Data & Analytics for a multi-billion-dollar organization
  • 8+ years of Operate or Managed Services experience including familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira
  • 8+ years of experience performing or managing data exchange/interoperability to and from Epic using healthcare integration engines such as Epic Bridges, Intersystems, Cloverleaf, Mirth, Rhapsody etc., and interfacing work
  • 8+ years of experience performing or managing Epic analytical tools such as Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, Cogito SQL and Radar, and Clarity and Caboodle data warehouses
  • 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Informatica MDM and Power BI
  • Experience with structuring and managing work using Agile principles
  • Track performance of the team providing Application maintenance support by adhering to the required Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to manage large teams onshore, offshore, and nearshore
  • Strong executive presence with regular engagement with multiple levels of leadership including VPs, Managers, Directors, project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalations.
  • Experience in supporting growth for new acquisitions and entities with extensive experience in implementation and rollout strategies
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
  • This role is mostly remote
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; and healthcare equivalent experience or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in modernizing large-scale data and analytics programs that promote an insight driven organization leveraging cloud & AI/ML technologies
  • Experience running day-to-day operations, maintenance and ongoing enhancements of data platforms and applications as well as managing and governing the underlying data leveraging standardized, automated and AI enabled capabilities
  • Strong understanding of the Healthcare technology ecosystem including the core EMR and third-party applications with solutions that span the API lifecycle from strategy, identification, design, implement, secure, deploy and operate.
  • Direct Knowledge of business areas (e.g., Clinical and Revenue Cycle) with background in healthcare operations including outpatient, inpatient, and ancillary areas
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision including ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
  • Ability to rollout engagement specific project delivery processes
  • Understanding of application interfacing with other modules/applications
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools
  • Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities with strong Written and Communication Skills
