Job Description
Work You'll Do
As an UX/UI Designer Consultant at Deloitte, you will solve complex user challenges by creating elegant, user-centered workforce technology solutions for our clients. You will plan and facilitate user research across information architecture, user interviews, and focus groups, synthesizing these findings into key design artifacts such as personas, user journeys, and design opportunities.
You will create user-friendly designs that enhance usability and optimize the overall user experience, proactively identifying design challenges and proposing elegant, effective solutions. A key part of your role involves understanding the product capabilities of our clients' selected technology (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce) to influence design approaches and produce designs that are both configurable and maintainable. You will also utilize corporate brand documentation to ensure consistent presentation of the brand throughout the product lifecycle.
Your responsibilities include producing all necessary design assets, such as high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, design prototypes, user scenarios, and user journey maps, to support intuitive and seamless user interactions. You will develop innovative approaches to complex design problems, presenting your ideas through mockups, presentations, and detailed design specifications. Upholding high standards of user-centered design, you will iterate quickly and test designs to enhance usability and consistency across touchpoints. This also involves planning and facilitating design validation activities with representative users through usability and user testing.
Collaboration is key; you will work closely with front-end developers to ensure visual design specifications are delivered accurately and establish efficient team processes to foster a collaborative approach that ensures quality experiences are delivered on time. You will assist with presentations, communications, and product support materials, confidently asking questions and thinking holistically about solutions. Staying up to date with the latest UX trends, best practices, and methodologies in areas like information architecture, interaction design, and usability is crucial. You will operate effectively in both collaborative environments with other UX designers and autonomously when acting as the sole UX designer on a product squad, delivering high-quality UX work on time, showcasing your expertise in user experience design and detailed interactions.
Our ideal candidate is a versatile design generalist with deep expertise in interaction design, comfortable supporting clients in shaping big-picture experience strategies across UX, UI, and AI. This role requires a proven track record of experience-driven innovation and will involve close collaboration with peers and client stakeholders to deliver net new product experiences.
