Transaction Services Senior Associate

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the Transaction Services Senior Associate role. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and relevant professional experience.

• Higher education degree required; a diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field is preferred.
• International education and/or experience is an advantage.
• 3–4 years of work experience in audit or corporate finance (experience in M&A services is a plus).
• CFA or ACCA certification is considered an advantage.
• Solid understanding of corporate finance, accounting, financial, and business valuation concepts.
• Strong commitment to client service excellence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Slovenian and English.
• Outstanding analytical abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, leveraging both languages.

Your Future Role

As part of the team responsible for providing financial due diligence to buy-side and sell-side clients, including corporate and private equity investors, you will actively participate in:

• Evaluating and analyzing detailed financial statement information, which includes balance sheets, income statements, cash flows, working capital, net assets, cost calculations, business plans, business models, and other operational documents and data.
• Integrating data that may influence final valuation and negotiation processes, such as identifying financial and business trends, including normalized EBITDA, normalized working capital, normalized revenues, net debt, potential liabilities, and risks.
• Preparing deal-focused presentations, reports, and summaries that highlight specific key issues based on previously conducted assessments and analyses.
• Collecting and translating the results of performed analysis into essential information for clients to incorporate into their strategy and deal agreements.
• Building and maintaining client relationships, including serving as the daily contact person, preparing request lists, and participating in meetings, Q&A processes, and electronic conferences.
