Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team guides clients through critical moments and transformational initiatives. This team provides integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. You will work alongside clients, helping them navigate challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions before, during, and after major transformational projects or transactions.

Work You'll Do

As a Technology Strategy Consultant, you will develop technology strategies to increase company profitability, catalyze growth, and deliver value across stakeholders. You will determine the platforms to adopt, architectures to build, ways of working to change, and capability improvements required for efficient scale. As a trusted advisor, you will craft quality deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships, whether on a small engagement or as part of a larger transformation.

Senior Consultants will synthesize overall strategy by analyzing a variety of solutions, selecting relevant tools/techniques for specific client requirements (e.g., business case, pricing, complex financial analysis), and interpreting/reporting outputs. You will participate in setting engagement objectives and scope; develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between work streams, and identify changes in scope. You will also design deliverable content to reflect engagement contracts and client needs, striving to improve quality through verification and validation of results.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years consulting and/or industry experience
• 2+ years of experience creating project materials, including roadmaps, presentations (PowerPoint), business case, business process and transformation plans
• Must have participated in one or more projects involving:

  • Platform Strategy
  • IT Outsourcing Advisory
  • Digital Transformation Architecture Blueprinting and Roadmaps
  • Digital Technology Spend Optimization
  • Current State IT Capability Assessment
  • Future State IT Capability Design
  • IT Transformation Roadmap Development
  • IT Service Management Assessment
  • Application Assessment
  • Data Management Strategy and Architecture
  • IT Process and Tool Deployment
  • IT Cost Optimization and Effectiveness
  • IT Service Delivery and Outsourcing Assessment
  • IT Governance, Operating Model, and Delivery Model Assessment
  • IT Financial Management Analysis (e.g. dashboards, charge-back models)
• Process Frameworks: IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), ISO 20000, COBIT
• ITIL: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, Continual Service Improvement and the processes in each of these five lifecycle phases
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Limited sponsorship may be available

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
• Experience working with cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS/BPaaS), digital, and analytics solutions
• An advanced degree in the area of specialization (MBA Preferred)
