The Technology Strategy practice within this team helps clients achieve business agility and sustainable value through technology. Work You'll Do as a Technology Strategy Consultant

As a Technology Strategy Consultant, you will develop comprehensive technology strategies designed to enhance a company's profitability, catalyze growth, and ultimately deliver value to all stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include determining optimal platforms, defining necessary architectures, identifying required changes in ways of working, and outlining capability improvements to ensure efficient scale. As a trusted advisor, you will be expected to produce high-quality deliverables and effectively manage project teams and day-to-day client relationships, whether on a smaller engagement or as part of a larger transformation initiative.

Senior Consultants synthesize overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions, selecting the most relevant tools and techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case development, pricing analysis, or complex financial analysis, and interpreting and reporting on the outputs. You will participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between work streams, and identify changes in scope. You will also design deliverable content to precisely reflect the engagement contract and client needs, striving to improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years consulting and/or industry experience
• 2+ years of experience creating project materials, including roadmaps, presentations (PowerPoint), business cases, business process, and transformation plans
• Participation in one or more projects involving:
  • IT Strategy
  • Cloud Strategy
  • Platform Strategy
  • IT Outsourcing Advisory
  • Digital Transformation Architecture Blueprinting and Roadmaps
  • Digital Technology Spend Optimization
  • Current State IT Capability Assessment
  • Future State IT Capability Design
  • IT Transformation Roadmap Development
  • IT Service Management Assessment
  • Application Assessment
  • Data Management Strategy and Architecture
  • IT Process and Tool Deployment
  • IT Cost Optimization and Effectiveness
  • IT Service Delivery and Outsourcing Assessment
  • IT Governance, Operating Model, and Delivery Model Assessment
  • IT Financial Management Analysis (e.g., dashboards, charge-back models)
• Proficiency with Process Frameworks: IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), ISO 20000, COBIT
• Understanding of ITIL: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, Continual Service Improvement and the processes in each of these five lifecycle phases
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Limited sponsorship may be available

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
• Experience working with cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS/BPaaS), digital, and analytics solutions
• An advanced degree in the area of specialization (MBA Preferred)

Compensation

The wage range for this role considers various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for applicable geographic differentials. At Deloitte, it is not typical for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600 - $163,100.

You may also be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to specific rules, where awards depend on individual and organizational performance.
