Job Description

Company Description

Join us. But be you. At Deloitte, you’ll do more than join something — you’ll add something. You’ll be part of a workplace that values curiosity, care, and contribution, working alongside people who are passionate about what they do and the impact they make. The question is simple: What impact do you want to make?

The team you’ll join

Our Transactions team is seeking an organised and proactive Team Administrator to join our high‑performing, client‑centred practice in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. This role is ideal for someone who values structure, enjoys supporting others, and thrives in an environment where reliability and quality delivery genuinely make a difference. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of day‑to‑day activities that enable our team to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.

You will join a collaborative team that supports a broad range of strategic business priorities across Mergers & Acquisitions, Valuations & Modelling, and Turnaround & Restructuring. We work closely with stakeholders to provide efficient, accurate administrative support, and we place strong emphasis on professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Our team is committed to creating an environment where everyone has what they need to succeed, and where high‑quality support is both valued and recognised.

Job Description: The impact you'll make

As a Team Administrator supporting the Transactions team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the practice runs smoothly and efficiently. Working closely with the Business Support Lead, you will provide high‑quality administrative support that enables the team to focus on delivering exceptional services.

  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to ensure seamless team operations.
  • Support financial and client administration, including processing invoices, managing expenses, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, schedules, and logistics for team members and senior staff.
  • Maintain accurate systems, documentation, and shared resources to support practice efficiency.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding, ensuring smooth transition for new joiners and leavers.
  • Help organise team meetings, events, and internal activities.

Qualifications: Your expertise

Skills

To excel in this role, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support a dynamic, fast‑paced team. You will bring:

  • A positive, team‑focused mindset and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail, paired with a structured and organised approach to your work.
  • Confidence in following processes, meeting deadlines, and managing competing priorities.
  • Ease in requesting information, following up with others, and ensuring workflows stay on track.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
  • Reliability, accountability, and pride in delivering high‑quality support that enables others to succeed.

This role is well‑suited to someone who enjoys organisation, takes initiative, and can be trusted to follow through. Your contribution will directly support a high‑performing professional services team and help ensure smooth, efficient operations across the practice.
