Tax Manager Mergers and Acquisitions

Overview

Deloitte is seeking a Tax Manager Mergers and Acquisitions with expertise in M&A, transactions, divestitures, joint ventures, bankruptcy planning, and emergence. This role demands leadership, project management, and a deep understanding of tax strategies.

Work You'll Do

As a Manager, you will work on a broad range of industries assisting corporate and private equity buyer clients. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting with tax due diligence, structuring, and modeling on transactions.
• Preparing due diligence reports for C-suite audiences.
• Directing complex tax research and forming tax-planning strategies.
• Expanding tax research skills with deep technical tax law exploration.

The Team

Deloitte Tax LLP M&A professionals provide comprehensive advisory services. You will collaborate with multiple corporate functions including finance, tax, treasury, HR, IT, and risk management to analyze tax risks and opportunities before, during, and after transactions.

Qualifications

Required: 5+ years of corporate tax experience with Big 4, law firms, or multinational companies, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, and one of the following accreditations: CPA, Licensed Attorney, or Enrolled Agent. Must be able to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days in person) and travel up to 25%.

Preferred: Advanced degrees (Masters of Tax, MBA, JD, LLM), effective communication and leadership skills, consulting and compliance experience, and strong supervisory capabilities.

Compensation & Incentives

The wage range is estimated between $161,490 and $299,910 depending on factors including skill set, experience, and qualifications. Participation in a discretionary annual incentive program is also available.
