Summary

In this 1-year fixed term Senior MongoDB Data Platform Consultant role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions using MongoDB. You will contribute to delivering high-quality, cloud-ready applications that empower clients to transform their businesses through data-driven decision making. This position offers a unique opportunity to tackle complex enterprise-level challenges while continuously advancing your technical and consulting expertise.

What will your typical day look like?

On a typical day, you will collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to understand solution requirements, translating them into effective MongoDB data models and implementations. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining MongoDB databases, ensuring adherence to best practices for performance, availability, security, and scalability.

Your responsibilities will also include participating in code reviews, troubleshooting production issues, and optimizing queries and indexes to enhance system performance. You may support cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and facilitate the integration of MongoDB with microservices and application frameworks. As a consultant, you will engage directly with clients, providing expert technical recommendations and supporting solution delivery from initial concept through to full implementation.

You are someone with these skills, experience and qualifications:

• Experience designing and developing MongoDB databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with MongoDB tools and features such as aggregation pipelines, replication, sharding, and security controls.
• Experience integrating MongoDB with backend applications (e.g., Java, Node.js, Python, or similar languages).
• Exposure to cloud platforms and modern development practices (microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD).
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
