The ideal candidate should possess solid technical skills in one or more of our main focus areas above, strong Financial Services Industry experience, and a passion for serving strategic clients through delivering outstanding projects as well as fostering and leading teams to success.

Required skills and experience:

• 4+ years of experience in Financial Services, either working as an advisor or in industry, with emphasis on Regulatory Compliance and/or Risk Management.
• Banking, Insurance or Asset Management experience is a must.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Advanced logical and analytical skills.
• People and/or project management experience is desirable.
• Attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple tasks across daily deadlines.
• Proficiency in both Hungarian and English is a must; German is a plus.
• Proficient use of MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is a must.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. FRM, PRM) are a plus but not required.

Your future role as Senior Consultant, Financial Services Risk and Regulatory

• Project delivery: Act as project team member for Risk and Regulatory projects all the way from initial client engagement to successful delivery, supporting the project team managing the scope, quality, timelines, teams and budgets.
• Client relationships: Work together with our clients in project delivery from a technical and/or PMO perspective. Support the Deloitte team in winning additional client work in our strategic focus areas, with our strategic clients.
• Regulatory Compliance subject matter contributions: Support the Deloitte team in delivering high-quality proposals and projects across our Service Offerings by owning and managing deliverables and/or workstreams. For example, this could involve: supporting our clients in addressing Bank Resolvability requirements, re-designing Credit Risk Processes and drafting new Policies, reviewing Green Products or strengthening 3 Lines of Defence operating models.
• Team development: Share your skills and knowledge through developing Analyst and Consultant colleagues on the job, while coordinating their work. Become the career coach of 1-2 junior colleagues over and above daily tasks, supporting their development in a strategic manner.
• Self-development: Develop your advisory, management and technical skills, supported by your career coach, trainings (e.g. by the Deloitte EMEA University in Paris), professional coaching and qualifications. As an advisor, you will have early opportunities to work in trending areas such as machine learning and sustainable finance.
• Deloitte networking: Work collaboratively with other businesses (e.g. Consulting, Audit) and service lines (e.g. Financial Advisory, Sustainability) across Hungary and Europe.
