Role Overview - Senior Consultant Digital Forensics

As a Senior Consultant Digital Forensics at Deloitte, you will support clients in managing Cyber Risk incidents and mitigate harmful impacts on business operations while enhancing IT security.

  • Analysis: Identify attack vectors, reconstruct digital incidents, and uncover Indicators of Compromise.
  • Forensic Investigation: Process large datasets from log sources and analyze malware using static or dynamic methods.
  • Documentation: Prepare findings in a legally sound manner and secure evidence.
  • Prevention: Advise on Incident Response, develop governance concepts and incident playbooks.
  • Resilience: Conduct simulations, assessments, and maturity analyses to improve cybersecurity defenses.
  • Communication: Deliver results through training, presentations, and clear communication to non-technical audiences.

Required Skillset

Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field and practical experience in areas such as IT Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Pentesting, or Network Security. Familiarity with forensic tools like EnCase, FTK, Autopsy or SIFT is advantageous. High commitment, independent work style and excellent communication in German and English are essential.
