Position Summary
The Senior Consultant - AI & Data at Deloitte is a role within the AI & Engineering team, dedicated to building, deploying, and operating integrated solutions in software, data, AI, network, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. This position involves transforming technology platforms, driving innovation and re-engineering processes for mission-critical business operations.
Work You’ll Do
- Lead requirement discussions with business and functional analysts.
- Prepare technical architecture, clarify requirements, and resolve ambiguities.
- Develop solutions following established technical designs and standards.
- Facilitate daily scrum meetings and manage deliverables.
- Mentor junior team members and conduct deliverable reviews.
- Collaborate with global and onsite teams, including clients and analysts.
- Create automation templates or scripts for routine tasks.
Team Overview
The AI & Data team designs, develops, and operates advanced Data and AI platforms. The focus is on modernizing data ecosystems, integrating structured and unstructured data using cloud and edge technologies, and employing AI/ML and automation to drive business impact.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills and Experience:
- 6+ years as a Business Analyst or related role in data projects.
- Experience across multiple industries like FSI, healthcare, TMT or retail.
- Proficiency in documenting business processes and gathering requirements.
- Basic understanding of SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with at least one cloud service platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Skilled in creating presentations with PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Good to Have Skills:
- Entry-level certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., ECBA).
- Exposure to data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
Education: BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc or equivalent from an accredited university.
Location
Positions are available in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, and Kolkata.
