What will your typical day look like?

As a Risk Management Consultant, you will join Deloitte's Global Risk & Brand Protection team. Your contributions will be vital to the advancement and implementation of risk management processes and programs. You will help coordinate, facilitate, and oversee risk assessments, building strong relationships within the Global network. A key aspect of your role will involve monitoring, analyzing, and identifying emerging risk trends and developments across both social and traditional media channels.

  • Support Deloitte Member Firms and Deloitte Global in improving and enhancing their risk management structures, processes, and programs.
  • Communicate and build relationships with Deloitte Global businesses and enabling areas, and member firm risk representatives.
  • Assist in organizing working group forums to provide risk management advice and guidance to member firm risk leaders.
  • Support the identification and dissemination of risk management practices across the network.
  • Analyze and monitor traditional and social media to identify trends in potential risks to Deloitte Global, Deloitte member firms, the professions we operate in, and/or our competitors, and provide early insights for advising on mitigation and response strategies.
  • Maintain and develop the risk sensing database (Salesforce platform), manage reports, and update risk sensing processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage other risk sensing related tasks, which include creating/filing/organizing digital documents, team mailbox management, and other related tasks.
  • Support the Brand Events and Risk Management (BERM) group on various projects, initiatives, and programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Global Risk & Brand Protection team is dedicated to protecting, preserving, and enhancing the Deloitte brand. We expertly navigate the dynamic risk landscape, covering areas such as risk management, confidentiality & privacy, cyber security oversight, regulatory compliance, independence & conflicts, and Anti-Corruption/financial crimes. We foster trusting relationships across the Deloitte network through collaboration, facilitation, and responsive guidance.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Management Information Systems, International Business, Risk Management, Library Science, Technical Writing, Business Writing, or other business equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a role focused in the following area(s): research, risk management, management or IT consulting, regulatory/public policy, data analytics, tracking and analyzing media, and/or social media trends.
  • Quality-oriented, with robust organization, analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills; attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset a must.
  • Ability to think outside the box, identify trends, and build meaningful connections between seemingly disparate subjects as new information is presented in order to address complex risk-related topics.
  • Ability to multitask and quickly adapt/respond to changing work situations and environments.
  • Strong and proactive time and workload management skills; takes initiative.
  • Ability to work occasionally outside of normal business hours and on weekends, as needed.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PowerBI beginner or intermediate skill level.
  • Experience using a social media listening technology.
  • Database experience, including data entry and use of Salesforce-based database technology.
  • Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
  • Program/Project Management Office experience.
  • Experience working in a professional services environment strongly preferred.
  • Multilingual abilities.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
