The Impact You'll Make as a Microsoft Power Apps AI Specialist

In this newly created Microsoft Power Apps AI Specialist role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape its direction and make a significant impact. Your primary focus will be on leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI services, to develop cutting-edge low-code applications, copilots, and intelligent agents. A key part of your role will involve creating and governing custom GPTs and other advanced AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and deploying AI-enhanced Power Apps solutions using Copilot Studio and various AI platforms.
• Creating and governing custom GPTs, copilots, and agents to automate complex business processes effectively.
• Developing and maintaining robust API connections to integrate other systems, agents, and solutions within the Power Platform environment.
• Producing clear and comprehensive solution architecture and documentation, ensuring considerations for privacy, performance, and support requirements.
• Upskilling and empowering citizen developers through the provision of reusable templates, clear guidance, and engaging workshops.
• Offering expert technical guidance and troubleshooting support during presales activities, proof-of-concept stages, and full production roll-outs.

Your Expertise and Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with a strong passion for AI and business process improvement, eager to make a tangible impact. Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent applied experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Power Platform AI development, including Power Apps (Power Flow, canvas, model-driven, custom pages), Copilot Studio Agents, and AI Builder models.
• Experience with Applied GenAI / LLM integration, specifically using Azure OpenAI Service to embed GPTs, RAG patterns, and agents within Power Apps and Copilots.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, Machine Learning Studio, and Azure Cognitive Services.
• Strong skills in Connectivity & integration, including custom connectors, REST/GraphQL APIs, Azure Functions/Logic Apps, and various data sources (SQL, SharePoint, Teams).
• Microsoft certifications (PL-400, PL-200, AI-102) or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Experience with multi-cloud GenAI services (AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI) is a plus.
• Proven ability to coach citizen developers and lead presales workshops/demos is also desirable.
