Work You'll Do
Senior Consultants in the IT Diligence team assist in evaluating technology systems and operations of a company, identifying potential risks and helping ensure IT is a successful enabler for a pending M&A transaction. They will deliver complex client engagements that help refine the client's IT strategy with a focus on inorganic growth by conducting IT or software diligence, divestiture support and post-merger support for clients as they assess JVs, Partnerships, Acquisitions, or potential sales. As an IT Diligence Senior Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to corporate and private equity clients. Deloitte's Senior Consultants are self-starters who are comfortable in an energetic and dynamic "roll-up-your-sleeves" culture.
Senior Consultant Responsibilities:
- Synthesize overall technology strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions, selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial and technical analysis, and interpreting and reporting on outputs.
- Be resourceful with subject matter areas that arise during diligence activities.
- Respond to emails/calls within a reasonable turnaround based on client situation and needs.
- Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope.
- Develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between work streams and identify changes in scope.
- Design deliverable content to precisely reflect the engagement contract and client needs and strive to improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results.
- Evaluate technology systems and operations of a company.
- Identify potential risks.
- Help ensure IT or specific software is a successful enabler for a transaction.
