Junior Project Manager, Banking
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Project Manager with a strong background in Banking to join Deloitte. This role is a 12-month contract based in London, requiring a hybrid work arrangement with three days a week in the office, starting January 5, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver finance and operational change initiatives within the banking sector.
- Apply strong accounting knowledge combined with hands-on project management capabilities.
- Manage stakeholders effectively, influencing at all levels within the organization.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the Banking industry.
- Ability to combine robust accounting knowledge with practical project management to drive change.
- Previous accounting experience OR a professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is advantageous, but not essential.
- Experience in fund accounting or fund controller operations is also a plus, though not essential.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
