Who we are looking for

We are searching for individuals with a university or college degree in a relevant field, ideally IT with business interests or Economic Sciences with IT interests, complemented by practical experience.

• 3 years of experience in analyzing and gathering business requirements within a multinational environment.
• 2 years of experience in consultancy or project management.
• Strong financial background.
• Fluent English and Hungarian language knowledge are essential.
• Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional requirement gathering techniques.
• Experience in writing Process Design Document (PDD) documentations.
• An understanding and appreciation for Robotic Process Automation (RPA), coupled with an interest in AI-related solutions.
• Enthusiasm for collaborating with innovative teammates from various Deloitte offices.
• Interest in developing software solutions for financial and tax professionals.
• Experience working with developers and utilizing Agile development methodologies.
• An ability to engage confidently with colleagues and customers, communicating clearly and concisely.

The following skills and experiences are considered advantageous but are not strictly required:

• Tax-related knowledge or work experience, especially concerning Indirect Tax.
• Experience with Jira.
• Experience with UIPath.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment.
• Solid knowledge of LEAN, SCRUM, or Kanban methodologies.
• CCBA (Certification of Competency in Business Analysis) exam.
• Project management experience.
• User interface or user experience design knowledge.

Your future role

As an IT Business Analyst, you will be integral to our team, bridging technology and business by:

• Assisting the Team Lead in managing client projects, initiatives, and overall strategy.
• Contributing to the development of products that resonate with our customers.
• Deeply understanding, analyzing, and gathering intricate business requirements, especially in taxation.
• Employing and enhancing exceptional requirement gathering techniques.
• Designing, conducting, and facilitating effective requirements sessions.
• Collaborating within a team to apply thought leadership and identify the root cause of issues.
• Communicating effectively with client stakeholders, internal tax advisors, and technology team members to specify business needs or regulatory changes.
• Supervising the work of other business analysts and providing coaching on analytical techniques during projects.
• Working closely with development team members, clarifying requirements to ensure smooth execution.
• Prioritizing Product Backlog Items (PBIs) and maintaining the backlog in line with current business needs.
• Proactively participating in all phases of the Scrum process.
• Embracing agile principles to deliver value efficiently.
• Helping improve in-house processes by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
• Supporting colleagues in automating daily tasks by identifying and implementing RPA solutions.
• Acting as a primary point of contact for the business regarding automation needs.
• Serving as the AI-related point of contact for the organization, assisting with AI-driven solutions and innovations.
