Role: IT Business Analyst Oil and Gas
Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP is seeking an IT Business Analyst with 3-8 years of experience in the Oil and Gas domain. This role is based in Mumbai and requires a B.Tech/BE (CS/IT) degree or a B.TECH + MBA (Full time).

Your Work Profile
- Capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements, translating them into actionable functionality.
- Assess risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impact to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Model processes, data flows, and technology to understand current states, identify issues, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain clear documentation of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability from business needs to final solution.
- Collaborate with software suppliers, designers, and developers to understand software limitations, contribute to system and database design, and ensure business requirements are met.
- Configure and document software and processes according to established standards and tools.
- Define acceptance criteria and validate solutions against business needs through comprehensive testing.
- Develop and present compelling business cases to secure approval, funding, and prioritization for solutions.
- Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control Business Analysis activities within project constraints of cost, time, and quality.
- Lead stakeholder management and facilitate large design sessions.
- Guide teams in completing business analysis tasks for projects.
- Configure and document software and processes.
- Define and coordinate testing efforts.
Key Skills Required
- B.Tech/BE (CS/IT) degree or B.TECH + MBA (Full time).
- Strong exposure in the Oil and Gas domain.
- Agile project experience, including understanding of Agile frameworks and tools.
- Ability to educate stakeholders, Product Owners, and Business Partners on Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts, data/process analysis and modeling, products & solutions.
