About the Role

Join Deloitte's AI & Engineering team as an Edge Architect Specialist. In this role, you will transform technology platforms, drive innovation, and help improve clients' financial performance and digital ventures. You will work with talented professionals to re-engineer operations and processes critical to businesses.

What You'll Do

  • Edge Design & Architecture: Define system specifications, architectures, and integration patterns.
  • Edge Dimensioning & BOM: Perform resource sizing, capacity planning, and generate detailed BOMs.
  • Edge Configuration & Setup: Configure, provision, and onboard devices in compliance with standards.
  • Edge Management & Automation: Deploy monitoring tools and implement automated workflows.
  • Application Deployment: Manage containerized and non-containerized application deployments.
  • Edge Security: Enforce physical and data security controls and continuous threat monitoring.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Work with cross-functional teams and mentor junior members.
  • Troubleshooting & Documentation: Diagnose complex issues and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Expertise in deploying and managing edge orchestration platforms.
  • Experience with third-party edge management solutions and Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of edge hardware architecture and network topology design.
  • Hands-on experience with physical installation, configuration, and onboarding.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% nationwide.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Leadership experience in managing client projects.
  • Understanding of business processes to align technical solutions with client goals.
  • Familiarity with virtualization, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.

Compensation

The wage range is estimated at $151,800 to $253,000 and may include annual incentives based on performance and other factors.
